What this is
ScamZen is a practice phone. Pick a scam from the wall, watch it play out on the phone, and choose what you would do.
Then you see the 3 clues that give the scam away. One scam takes about 2 minutes. Nothing you tap here is real, so it is safe to get it wrong.
Why it works this way
Scammers use the same few tricks again and again: a fake officer on a video call, a QR code to "receive" money, a message that says your account will be blocked today.
Reading a warning is easy to forget. Living the trick once, safely, makes it much easier to spot when it is real.
Who it is for
Anyone with a phone. It also works well together: sit with a parent, grandparent or friend and try one scam side by side.
If it already happened
Call 1930, the National Cyber Crime Helpline, or report at cybercrime.gov.in. The sooner, the better: money can sometimes be stopped in the first few hours.
The Help guide in ScamZen walks you, or someone you know, through what to do, one step at a time.
